Objective:To evaluate the value of myocardial viability by multimodality MR Imaging.Methods:30 patients who suspectively suffered from coronary artery disease underwent multimodality MR imaging, including cine MR,myocardial perfusion, and single photon emission tomography(SPECT).the results of MR scanning were compared with that of SPECT. Results:Ejection fraction,end-diastolic volume and end-systole volume measured by cineMRI higher than which measured by SPECT,but had no significant statistic difference(P>0.05).At cine MR,43segments were hypokinetic,467 segments were normal.Perfusion scanning detected 198 segments ischemia, and 312 segments were normal.Delayed imaging was observed in 56 segmens as necrosis.454segments showed no infarction which detemined as viable myocardium.Necrosis segments determined by SPECT were less than that by MR ,which had significant difference. Conclusion:Multimodality MR imaging in detecting the myocardial viability and evaluate prognosis has great significance.
